You get three new maps and one ripped from the original Gears of War that has been coated with a layer of, you guessed it, snow. No, instead this piece is going to focus on my impressions of the new Snowblind Map Pack that is now available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). This article will not mention that Epic has failed to fix the myriad of issues facing the troubled multiplayer system of Gears of War 2. This article won't talk about how I waited 15 minutes to find a match before chucking my controller on the ground in disgust and moving on to the more reliable Horde mode. This article won't be about Gears of War 2's all but broken matchmaking system.
